Hi, I am a married working mother of two beautiful girls.  I married my high school sweetheart Mark and I love him more today that I thought would ever be possible.  Our girls are 14 and 12 and are very involved in church, school activities, volleyball and basketball. We attend our local church where we are involved in many things, including a small group.  They mean the world to us.  Great friends who you can share anything with is something I think everyone needs!!  They have become our extended family and love that they can speak words of truth into our children’s lives, our lives and we can do the same for them.  We also love to camp and many of our great friends are right there beside us each night as we tell stories and sing around the campfire.

Oh and I am a Coffee Snob, and a Coffeaholic.  I will drink pretty much any kind of coffee, but I really like the good stuff.  Don’t mess with my Coffee!!!  I take it black.  My true friends know to have coffee ready or just about ready when I visit.

Reading is a passion of mine.  I usually have one fiction and one Christian Living book on the go and a bookshelf full of ones to read.  I will read just about anything…Parenting, Young Adult fiction, Mystery, etc.  I just love to read and would rather be reading with a cup of coffee in hand than watching TV any day!

Why Blog? Well I started because of a struggle with my weight  but now realize that all aspects of my life make up who I am …not just the get healthy journey.  By sharing my thoughts and writing them down, I can express how I am feeling and sometimes see things I didn’t even know were there.  If I can help someone else in the process…Bonus!  My prayer is that God will use me and that I will listen to His call!
